ATTENTION SENIORS! It’s that time of year! Any member of the senior class may audition to present a vocal performance at graduation. Auditions will be held March 13th at 2:30 in the choral room. Also, any member of the senior class may submit an application to be a graduation speaker. Auditions are March 19th at 2:30 in the auditorium. Applications for both auditions are available in the Student Activities office and both are DUE February 14th. Please see Ms. Drawec with any questions.

 

Any student with over ten absences for the semester may apply for a waiver at the assistant principal’s office.

 

First semester art students work is now on display this whole week in the IRC. Come in and take a look at what our talented students created this semester!

 

Are you ready to rock and roll? Get your band together and sign up for the Battle of the Bands! Auditions are January 29th, rehearsals are on Jan 31st, and the big night is February 1st. Find a Class of 2020 council member or sign up outside of B128 if you are interested.

The Above the Influence Club will be collecting donations for the Providence Behavioral Health Center and their inpatient substance abuse unit. This drive will go from Jan 8th to Jan 29th. Please bring in adult winter clothing, such as, shoes, coats, hats, gloves, used books, games and art supplies to B108.

 

Have you ever wanted to build words, travel to distant lands, or become the ultimate champion? Then look no further! Chaug is starting it’s first ever Video Game Club! We will host weekly tournaments for all of your favorite games and even use the game development program called Unity to make our own games! This will be a great place to not only play games with friends, but also to learn and develop skills in a vast and quickly growing industry. We will meet every Thursday after school in A219! If you have any questions or would like to sign up, please see Mr. Bullard in B107. We hope to see you there.

 

Attention juniors:  Applications for senior year internships are available now in the counseling center. To be eligible to do an internship your senior year, the application must be filled out completely and turned into the counseling center by January 31st. Don’t wait until the last minute to pick up your application packet. Be sure to leave yourself enough time to collect all of the materials needed to complete the process. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Considine, the school to career coordinator, in the counseling center.
