Send your music and videos through Google drive to Ms. Sacon at dsacon@hwrsd.org. Your clips can be no longer than 5 minutes. Any audio or video sent to Emeralds gives them permission to publish it should it be chosen.

Student Activities fees are now being collected. The fee is $40 and it is an annual one-time fee. Once paid, you can be a member of as many clubs as you would like. Please stop by Student Activities with any questions or for a list of clubs and to get the form.

This month is Black History Month, so Diversity and Culture Club would like to take the time to appreciate those who made an impact on our world. A man who once said, "A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree with no roots." Marcus Josiah Garvey knew that people, especially black people, who didn't know their history would become lost. He was an amazing African man who fought and urged black Americans to be proud of their identity. He also created the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA). This organization founded by Marcus Garvey, was dedicated to racial pride, economic self-sufficiency, and the formation of an independent Black nation in Africa. Thank you for celebrating Black History Month with us and please keep learning.

Celebrate Life Club is collecting baby supplies for babies and families in crisis. We are looking for diapers, baby lotions, bibs, pacifiers, etc. Please see Mrs. Fimognari with any questions. Thank you for helping us to help these families.

You Are Beautiful Week is next week! Be sure to listen to announcements, for daily quotes and follow the Student Council Instagram for more information.
