The History and Social Science Program strives to prepare students for effective participation in a democratic society.  Students will be able to understand and meet the responsibilities of citizenship, value the dignity of each individual in our society, and participate in our society’s democratic processes.  Students will understand the human relationships of all people by studying the past and present and looking into the future of various systems in our society and the global community. 

Students are required to take three History/Social Sciences courses.  

All required courses are aligned with the Massachusetts Frameworks. All AP courses have been approved by AP Central.
